"Fietsevent" @Ikaros

On 12 September 2019, VOKA organised, in close collaboration with Befimmo and other partners, an information session on cycling solutions for companies. The event took place in the Ikaros building in Zaventem.

Cycling to work has nothing but advantages. It’s better for the environment, leads to less traffic jams, and is good for our mental and physical health.

How do you develop a bicycle-friendly policy for your employees and give them that extra incentive to come to work by bike?  

The participating businesses found out during this practically-oriented information session.

Emilie Delacroix (Head of CSR & Innovation – Befimmo) and Bart Simaey (Senior Contract Manager – Befimmo) presented Befimmo’s mobility policy for both its own employees and the users of its buildings.

After the presentation the participants could enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the Ikaros restaurant. During lunch the participants also got acquainted with various mobility solutions of the exhibitors present (Ahooga, Silversquare and many more). Afterwards, they were given the opportunity to test some of these solutions such as (electric) bikes and scooters.
