Sparks, the new one-stop-shop for meetings, opens its doors in Brussels
Outdated meeting practices and infrastructure no longer satisfy the needs of modern businesses. Sparks is keen to tackle this problem by offering flexibility in an optimal location combined with an innovative design from Cobra Studios, a dedicated team of experts, plus a fun and easy reservation system. Befimmo is a partner of this promising Brussels start-up.
A FULL ORDER BOOK
Sparks is off to a promising start, with a full order book already in place. Martin Vanderborght, the co-founder of Sparks, explains: "We are receiving reservations for strategic meetings for between 10 and 120 people, but also for events involving up to 250 people in our iconic theatre. Local businesses and European organisations already have confidence in us. It is very encouraging."
14 ‘STATE OF THE ART’ MEETING ROOMS
At Sparks, there are specific meeting rooms for specific objectives, whether it’s an (in)formal meeting, a spontaneous brainstorming session, a conference, a live stream or a hackathon. The start-up has fourteen brand-new meeting rooms, each with its own particular function and design: the place to be for meetings accommodating anything from 2 to 250 people. The 2,500 m² at Sparks also features an events area, kiosks and a restaurant with an energetic menu.
First and foremost we were keen to create a space where our customers feel good, escape their daily routine and therefore feel inspired. Secondly, we have paid particular attention to a perfectly acoustic, hygienic and ergonomic environment, with daylight in every room and the latest technical wizardry. - Martin Vanderborght.
On top of these facilities, Sparks also provides support packages, including meeting services and professional guidance, to take meetings to a higher level. The specialist team at Sparks comprises five entrepreneurs from Brussels: Martin Vanderborght, Monia Chatzipanagiotis, Olivier d’Yve, Alexandre Ponchon and Axel Kuborn.
